Terms of Use – MyMentor AI

Thank you for choosing My Mentor AI.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the use of the services offered by My Mentor AI S.r.l., including web applications, API interfaces, and content accessible through the digital platform (the “Services”), by both individual and professional users. By using our Services, you fully accept these Terms, which constitute a binding contract.

1. Who We Are

My Mentor AI S.r.l. is an Italian company with its registered office at Via Bonomea 68/2, 34136 Trieste (TS), VAT ID 01425580329, PEC: mymentorai@pec.it.

2. Specific Terms for Services and Features

The use of certain features may be subject to supplementary terms (e.g., Code of Ethics and Transparency, use policy, credits, educational licenses, enterprise access). These documents form an integral part of these Terms.

3. Minimum Age and Registration

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. Underage users (under 18) must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Registration is required to access the Services. You warrant that the information provided is accurate and complete. Sharing credentials or using another person’s account is not permitted.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Services in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. It is prohibited to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes;

• Violate third-party rights, including intellectual and industrial property rights, confidentiality, personal data protection, or other protected rights;

• Decompile, reverse engineer, or circumvent technical protections;

• Use AI outputs to develop competing models;

• Automatically extract data from My Mentor AI without written consent.

5. Content and Ownership

Input and Output. You retain ownership rights over content uploaded or entered into the Services (“Input”) and acquire, within the limits permitted by applicable law, the rights to use the materials generated by the platform (“Output”).
My Mentor AI undertakes not to use your Inputs and Outputs for the purposes of training, optimizing, or improving its own models or Services, unless otherwise expressly agreed or a consent option is enabled by you.

Unlawful or Unauthorized Content. You are expressly prohibited from uploading, writing, entering, or transmitting through the Services content:
a) that is unlawful under national or international law (including, by way of example, pornographic, child-pornographic, discriminatory, racist, or violence-advocating content);
b) that is defamatory, damaging to another’s honor or reputation, insulting, or otherwise offensive;
c) that infringes third-party intellectual or industrial property rights;
d) for which you do not hold the necessary legal title or authorization to use.

My Mentor AI reserves the right to carry out automated checks on submitted content and to suspend, limit, or disable the user’s account in the presence of established or suspected violations of the above provisions.

6. Feedback

Feedback provided may be freely used by My Mentor AI to optimize, adapt, and expand its Services, without monetary compensation to the user.

7. Paid Services

Some advanced features are accessible via subscription or credits.

• Prices are clearly indicated before purchase and can be found at the dedicated page https://mymentorai.com/pricing-three/;

• Financial transactions are handled through external payment platforms, in particular Stripe, which acts as an independent payment service provider. My Mentor AI is not responsible for any disruptions, interruptions, transaction refusals, or technical malfunctions occurring during payment and attributable to Stripe or other third-party providers.

• In any case, My Mentor AI undertakes to act in good faith, providing timely support and cooperating with the user to facilitate the resolution of any payment-related issues. The user has the right of withdrawal within 14 days of subscription, within the limits provided by Legislative Decree 206/2005.

• The sales conditions may be modified periodically by My Mentor AI based on its commercial decisions, regardless of terms previously applied.

8. Suspension and Termination

My Mentor AI may suspend or close the user’s account in the event of:

• serious or repeated violations of these Terms;

• legal obligation;

• prolonged inactivity (>12 months);

• risk to system security or stability;

• request by public security authorities.

9. Liability

My Mentor AI provides the Services “as is,” without any express or implied warranty as to the correctness, timeliness, completeness, or suitability of the generated Outputs for specific, educational, professional, or decision-making purposes. It is the user’s sole responsibility to verify the relevance and adequacy of provided content before use.

Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, My Mentor AI shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or unforeseeable damages, including—by way of example—loss of data, service interruption, lost profits, or detriment arising from reliance on Artificial Intelligence Outputs.
Interruptions due to scheduled maintenance will be communicated with reasonable notice through official channels or direct notification to the user.

The user acknowledges and agrees that content automatically generated by artificial intelligence models may contain inaccuracies, processing errors, or potentially misleading information, and therefore undertakes to indemnify and hold My Mentor AI harmless from any civil, administrative, or compensatory liability arising from the use, reliance upon, or dissemination of such content, subject to the non-derogable mandatory limits of law.

10. Users’ Legal Rights

These Terms do not prejudice the non-waivable rights recognized to consumers by Italian or European Union law.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the Court of Trieste has exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to the consumer’s forum where applicable.

12. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms. In the event of material changes, the user will receive written notice at least 30 days in advance. By continuing to use the Services after that date, the user accepts the changes.
